Hello world!!
I was thinking about how to start writing this blog, and even when I'm writing I do not know which words to start with.
I was thinking about how to start writing this blog, and even when I'm writing I do not know which words to start with.
Since I can remember, I've been a
fan of Olympic Games, especially artistic gymnastics.
Since I was a little girl I watch TV every four years to see these girls doing magic in each of the gymnastics equipment, it's really impressive, the girls they seem to fly !!, with the passage of time you are having your favorite countries and in this discipline they have always been Romania and the United States, not to belittle my country, Mexico, although it is not a country that develops a lot of artistic gymnastics, it is currently doing its thing in this sport.

Speaking of Sidney 2000, where I
did not miss a single minute of all the competitions, where they became two of
my favorites in this discipline, the Romanian Andreea Raducan and the American
Jamie Dantzscher, and it is precisely this last one that I want to talk about
in this post.
Many of you know who she is and many others have a huge question mark on their face when read her name, well, she was the first of the many American gymnasts girls who raised their voices to accuse the sexual abuse of which they were victims on the part of the "alleged" Dr. Larry Nassar.
Jamie was harshly attacked when she raised her voice, they gave her many unpleasant qualifiers for having done it and she was a "liar" who just wanted to get attention, I think the people who spoke badly about her today end up eating their words, I will not go into the subject, since this is mainly for Jamie, I want to write a message for her, I do not know she will get to read it, however, I admire her as a gymnast, as an icon of sport, , and I believe that all people have dreams that can come true someday, so I do not lose hope that my words can arrive to her.

Jamie:
I know that for you I am just a stranger, one more person in the world, we do not even share the same language, the same country or the same customs, but we do share the fact of being "women" and as such, feel empathy by our own gender and admiration for those we believe deserve to be recognized and that is why today I want to acknowledge your courage, and your strength to raise your voice, to be heard and to believe in your words, there will still be people who do not sympathize with you and the facts, but there are many more that we do and I am one of them, I am a woman who believes in good people, in justice and in those who want to help other people like you, who raised your voice for the girls of your own family, for the girls not only from your country but also from the whole world, where perhaps the same thing may be happening but nobody has taken the initiative to assert their rights.
I have admired you as a gymnast since I met you and today I know that I was not wrong to see who you are, because I have not seen only your talent but the beauty of your heart, a heart that perhaps was sad, but today you can smile and feel proud of yourself because you changed to the world, to the girls of the world that like me we listen to you and admire you, you are a source of inspiration for many of us who have dreams and want to make them come true, for many girls who will grow up and know what you did for them in your country and in others, as in mine (Mexico).
Thank you for raising your voice and not giving up, someone in a small part of the world thanks you, you has inspired me in many ways and I will admire and remember you forever and I dream of meeting you someday and being able to hug you.
You are a beautiful woman inside and out, with a BIG heart!! I want to tell you that it makes me happy that you have decided to fight for your life and for being happy, nothing is more important than that, love for ourselves and your life is worth more than anything.

Thanks Jamie Dantzscher for
changing the world and never stop smiling. 😘
Thanks
for reading me.
(Excuse me if my English is not quite right). 😊

Me encantaron tus palabras.
ResponderEliminarMuy bueno tu post!
